Twitter ‘mouseover bug’ caused by website flaw fixed
Microblogging site Twitter.com was hacked resulting to thousands of unintended tweets from users’ accounts. In the attack dubbed “mouseover bug,” hackers used malicious Javascript to force “retweets†or spam of specific status updates whenever users moused over an infected tweet while logged in to the Twitter website.
